Chase Archer Brixey

is here.  Safe and Sound...Praise the Lord!  He was born on April 29, 2011 at 10:41 a.m.  He weighed in at 7 lbs., 10 oz, and was 19.5 inches long.  He has a FULL head of dark hair and melts his momma's heart with his little sounds, grunts, and sighs!
Big Sister Addison is amazing with him and I feel completely blessed! My sister-in-law took some really great photos of him...check them out at her blog: amymaephotography.com

Washing all that hair!
Here is one that we took--Big Sister holding Chase.

This week...

has been rough. I am 30 weeks pregnant!  Yay! Although I am VERY nervous...my Addison Violet was born at 31 weeks... almost 5 years ago we went to my 30 week Dr appt, everything was normal and by midnight that night I was bleeding.  I spent 9 days in the hospital, and my little girl spent 35. She is a complete joy, perfectly healthy, so sweet, so much fun, and a Daddy's girl.  But we never really knew why she decided to make an early grand entrance...my dr. really feels like it was a fluke and after passing this small milestone--we went to my 30 week checkup yesterday-everything was normal and I am fine, no pain, no bleeding--I feel like it just might of been a fluke....I am hoping that I can relax a little bit...feeling blessed...

Went thrifting yesterday....

I started to feel as though I haven't been as creative lately as I would really like to be. So Addy and I went in search of some treasures...we actually found a few fun things and now I would like a nice sunny day so that I can paint a few things..wishful thinking as 1. It is foggy and overcast and dark today, and 2. not so sure painting is the best activity for a pregnant woman to partake in.  Anyhow I will leave you with a picture that my SIL took of the Barn Sale last year, yes we are gearing up for another one, however this one will be in the Fall, one of my most favorite seasons, and it will be even more grande than our first one!
